I am being bullied at work by a manager and need to know if its better to quit for unemployment or get fired?
Its getting harder and harder to go into work and my manager knows this............i dont know what to do!
If its a big corporation then document EVERYTHING. Conversations, save emails, write down dates and times, be detailed and specific.
While you do the above: Talk to her/him. Tell them how you feel... If possible try to take advantage of a situation where you feel the Manager is being mean to you AND there are other co-workers there, like a meeting or something. Then nicely and carefully tell the Manager how you feel. If its that bad have H.R. with you while you do it. This way when you write down the incident later, you can document that other people were there and heard what was said by both you and the Manger. If the problem persists then you can take a COPY of your documentation to H.R. and have them deal with it...
IF its a small company...
Can you marry into the family that owns it?
Yes: Fire the Manager.
No: Your screwed.
