Valentine's Day?!?

ok so over the weekend i started dating this guy that i have been hanging out with for a while. We began talking about stuff and valentines day came up. I told him not to do anything for it because I hate this holiday but he told me he already got me something, and now i need to figure out what to get him. I was thinking since we are going snowboarding in a few weeks i was gonna pay for his lift ticket. so my question is is that a good idea, and how should i present it to him? i cant buy the ticket now so giving him the ticket isnt an option. and if that's not a good idea does anyone have any? Help!!
