Who else thinks The Beach Boys are the most underrated band ever?
Okay people, the point here seems to be not the popularity of the band but what unfortunatly has become their legacy. Their legacy is I Get Around, Califonia Girls, and Surfin' USA. All great songs but anyone who is not a serious music fan has no idea Pet Sounds or SMiLE even exist, or at the very least hasn't actually heard it. But to answer the question, it's all Mike Love's fault, period.
