what scientist should i do it on?
i have a science report due. i dont know which scientists to do it on. please help me choose!! theres a list i have to choose from::

If it were me, I would choose Wu because I do not know about him, and if he's mentioned amongst these other greats, I should learn about him. The west tends to be a bit centered on its own history, and learning "outside the box" is definitely healthy.
Other than that, I would say Isaac Newton. Before Einstein, his name could have filled that same "ultra genius" role. He even had some interesting roles besides scientist - he was in charge of the state treasury and had to combat counterfeit money, for instance. (and remember that counterfeit was considered treason - remember what England used to do to traitors? I'll give you a hint - Braveheart.)
Anyway, I'm off to go read about Wu to find out for myself what his accomplishments were. Good luck with your report.
EDIT - Wu is a woman, a physicist in the mid 20th century who advanced our understanding of nuclear physics, and can claim several firsts for women in the field of science.
