Gta 4 for xbox 360 ...."The disk is unreadable" problem!!! Plz HELP!!!?
I bought a xbox 360 from US and im residing in India.As the console format is NTSC i bought a Gta 4 NTSC from US.It was brand new factory sealed original DVD and i started playing it on my Xbox 360.In the beginning it did not gave any errors...but after a while of gameplay there was a little delay in the textures for a while and then a message was displayed "The disk is unreadable".I tried installing it on my hdd but the same problem occurs.I even tried removing the hdd and playing the game but it showed the same error.The disk is new and not scratched.I tried other games like Gta episodes from liberty city on my xbox but it was working fine!! PLz help me....b'coz sometimes when i play difficult missions and about to save "BAAM" the error occurs and i have to play the whole mission from the beginning!!!! Its not my consoles fault as it is also brand new and other games work perfectly fine!!!
sounds like a bad disc.. remember, just because its new, doesnt mean its perfect. Its somewhat uncommon to get a brand new bad disc, but it happens. since you can play other games its highly unlikely to be an issue with your console.
