I *love* these guys, PJ...a lot. I keep "Cure For Pain" here at the office and I listen to it quite a bit. The majority of what I was listening to in the 90s was grungy and guitar-driven, and these guys were something completely different and wonderful.
Mark Sandman's death was a huge loss. 
Edit: I hear you there...it must have been horrible. But you're absolutely right...we can still enjoy the music he left behind.
