Were the original inhabitants of Britain really Inuit?
I was reading up on the film "The Eagle", to be released this year. It's about the Roman empire in Britain, and the director said when casting for the native Picts in Scotland:
"They were a more indigenous folk than the Celts, who were from farther south ... They were probably small and dark, like the Inouit [sic], living off seals and dressed in sealskins. We are going to create a culture about which no one knows much, but which we will make as convincing as possible."
Is this made up, or is this one of those cover ups by a chiefly white government?
I don't really know, I could say absolutely not but then I might be wrong. Our people move around a lot and we were in parts of Europe. So it could be possible but it could be made up so I don't know for sure.
