In Music Production what is the best way to combine your hardware with computer software?

I currently have a Korg Electribe and a pretty good turntable but I want to be able to use them with Reason FL studio or Protools but keep them all on beat to make one finished track what do i need?

Buy an M-Audio oxygen and use Cubase/ProTools for the PC..... and either Logic or ProTools for OSX

If you install ReWire (comes with Reason, Cubase, and others) then it will sync all of those programs.

After that, I usually freeze tracks and stick them all in Cubase.
