What doo-wop group had a hit with an uptempo version of "Unchained Melody" in the early 60's?

Unchained Melody is one of the most recorded songs of all time. It was originally released in 1995 by Les Baxter (#1 ), Al Hibbler (#3), Roy Hamilton (#6) and June Valli (#29).
Previous answers mentioned the Righteous Brothers who had two versions that made the charts. The first version was recorded in 1965 and peaked at #4. They recorded it again for the movie Ghost in 1990; that version went to No. 13. However, both versions were slow.
The only " upbeat " version was done by Vito And The Salutations recorded in October of 1963. Its highest chart position was only No. 66. Although it was not exactly a smash hit it was a real attention getter. I have a DVD called Doo-Wop 50 (or was it 51?) and Vito, leaning on a cane, sounded just like he did when they recorded the original.
