Have you heard of Sacred Geometry? How does it help one in discovering the self?
I was advised to surround myself with 'Sacred G' by a kind soul. I saw a video featuring Charles Gilchrist titled an introduction to Sacred Geometry, which seemed deceptively simple. But can anyone explain in layman's language how all this could be applied practically to bring forth peace, calm and harmony...Please!!!

A V R: you are right, Sir, when you say everything has to come from within. But I do hope there are ways & means to bring it all back once it flees...Just like we acquire talents with practice & dedication, even acting skills, which many people think one is born with and can never be learnt. Being an optimist I do believe there are ways to still the ripples in my inner pond, only I'm clueless right now.

That said, I'm personally NOT a big fan of geometries to which we humans bring/attach a specific metaphysical / mystical / religious meaning. I don't think such geometries and symbolism can necessarily help anyone "discover the Self" (over and above the person's underlying faith in their significance), anymore than stimulating the "G spot" does, per se. LOL
Instead, I'm much more inclined to think that there maybe a primal (and as yet undiscovered) geometry hidden in the physical / observational concept of "Quantum Entanglement" which could point to a fundamental Truth about The Universe and hence our Conscious Self.
Now, I'm including the following video presented by Rene Jorgensen the author of the [life after death experience] book called "Awakening After Life: A Firsthand Guide through Death into the Purpose of Life" where he uses clips from the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" to make his point. I cannot say I agree with everything (or even most of what) he says, but that's NOT the issue here; what's important is for you to realize that not just him but many others (among them even some working scientists) who believe that Quantum Entanglement is really where science meets religion and spirituality. Again, I'm NOT saying I'm necessarily in [total] agreement with this "New Agey" interpretation of Quantum Entanglement - my personal interest is more focused towards an adequate scientific interpretation of the underlying geometrical truths contained within it than anything having to do with religion and spirituality. Nonetheless, I figured it could serve as a good starting point (food for thought) for someone looking for latent truths, about the Self, in geometrical domains.
