Okay, i dont know what i should do to keep myself on the ball, and ready to begin the next school year, but around a fun schedule, i want to go into 8th grade smarter than i left 7th. How many books should i read? What kind of stuff should i do to improve my handwriting? Ideas would be great! a bonus would be some really interesting/good book titles!

wow, that's great that you are one of the few that really want to do something productive over the summer. your parents should be very proud. I'm a teacher and some things I know to do are to read at least 5 books over the summer. Write about the books, such as writing about a character you liked in the book and why or how the character resolved a problem in the story, or a persuasive essay on why or why someone should not read the book (that helps for state tests). I would go to your local library and find a list of recommended books for your age group or grade level.
